Analysis Window

The analysis window sets how many draws back a report looks when calculating all of its metrics. Changing the window recalculates every frequency count, drought depth, multiplier, and signal on the page.

Why It Matters

Short windows show you what's happening right now. Long windows show the game's full memory. The same combo can look very different depending on the window you're working in — and understanding that difference is part of reading the data honestly.

How Stepzero Uses It

Every report page includes an Analysis Window control. Preset options include Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Last 6 Months, Last Year, and All Time. Changing the selection immediately recalculates all visible metrics.

Example

In a 30-day window, combo 123 might appear hot because it hit three times recently. In an all-time window, those three hits look unremarkable against a full decade of history.

FAQ

Does changing the window change the underlying draw data?

No — the draws themselves don't change. The window changes which subset of draws is used for calculations. The full history is always available when you select All Time.

Which window should I start with?

Sarah aside: Start short to see what's happening right now, then stretch the window to check whether the pattern holds. If the story flips completely when you go from 30 days to 1 year, that's important context for how much weight to give the short-term signal.
